This paid open door will permit youth to shape arrangements and projects, advocate for genuine change, intensify youth voices, and master new abilities.
The Office of Neighborhood Safety, situated in the Mayor’s Office of Criminal Justice, is enlisting youth and youthful grown-ups to work with strategy producers and networks to rethink NYC’s security. This drive is committed to lifting up youth encounters to further develop security and prosperity in key NYCHA advancements and New York City.
The chamber will occur throughout nine (9) months (March through November 2022 and last roughly 36 weeks). Individuals will take part in Council exercises ~2 times each week (max 4 hours/week), during which time individuals will work with the Office of Neighborhood Safety, CUNY Intergenerational Change Initiative, the Center for Court Innovation, and different accomplices.
Benefits
- Members will get a month to month allowance of $400.
Qualification
Open to youth and youthful grown-ups in New York City;
- No related knowledge is required. You’ll shape arrangements and projects, advocate for genuine change, enhance youth voices, and acquire abilities en route.
